The Glass House Visit

I went to Philip Johnson's Glass House in New Canaan, CT and really liked it. The Glass House had a fireplace and bathroom enclosed in brick in the center of the house. I loved the Art Gallery - it looked like a bunker and had huge moving walls that showed different paintings depending on how you moved them. The Sculpture Gallery had great windows that allowed for the light to come in that made stripes everywhere. The final building was Da Monsta which is the guest pavilion and had a crazy shape. The door and windows were made into weird angles. I really enjoyed seeing the Glass House.
