Visit to the Churchill Museum in London

My first day in London, I went to the new Churchill Museum with Theo and Alex. Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of the UK during WWII. He is very famous for all the good things he did for the people. One of the most famous things he did was not that he went to watch the bombs on top of his bunker roof but that he liked cigars. The museum is in the old bunker where he stayed during the war and broadcast his speeches through the wireless (or radio) to the world.

Hey Matthias,
Just looking at your mention of your visit to the Churchill Museum and just to let you know that your Papa George really admired him - so much so that he did a bronze sculpture of him that sits in your familyroom! We've sent off some pictures from our visit with you guys and they will be waiting for you. Nana sends her love. Aunt Mary , Uncle Scott, Jakob and Julia all have left for their boat trip - will be gone 10 days (Georgian Bay). I went tubing recently and went a little crazy wild consequently very sore!! Talk soon and keep safe.
Love to everyone. Aunt Shelagh and Greydon xoxoxoxoxo
